Happy holidays to you! I have been very busy teaching elementary school and loving every minute of it!
But that means I have less time to devote to Ribbon Ring. Look how many blog posts I made in 2013. Epic fail.
So...... I have been playing with the idea of selling my Ribbon Ring business. I see your eyebrow raised and there is a twinkle in your eye... are you interested? If you are, please email me: Melissa@ribbonring.com
It would be so hard to let it go... I dreamed this product up in my living room 8 years ago and now it is sold WORLDWIDE with ZERO advertising. Who knows what YOU could achieve?!?!

Anyone have some spare time???
Can I tell you how much I LOVE FALL! I hope you are easing back into school... the kids are gone, the house is quiet and you can start scrapbooking again! I am a teacher, so I am enjoying spending my days with your kiddos! Then, I get home, take care of my own kiddos and try to get my own scrapbooking projects done. Plus housework. Plus gardening. Ha. Good luck with that, right?
So scrapbooking friends... are you on LinkedIn? If you are and would like to connect with me, just look me up (Melissa Bickle). I have met many of you at shows and you may have seen my ribbon art. I have a book, "A Notion To Celebrate" published by Leisure Arts and would like to put together some new projects but I am having a hard time finding enough hours in the day. (sigh- See above.)
Oh and I have a new puppy.
Please send me any free time you have.

Back to school... back to scrapbooking!
I hope you are having a WONDERFUL summer and taking lots of photographs that you will scrapbook this fall. As we think about back to school shopping for our kiddos, I have been known to do a little "back to scrapbooking" shopping for myself. In order to encourage this, I will offer you a $1 off coupon through the month of August on any Ribbon Ring order. You know you should get that ribbon organized! Coupon code is: SUMMER13
Enjoy!

Enjoy!

Well there you are!
Helllllooooo out there. Sorry it has been FOREVER since I posted. I have been super duper busy. I re-organized my art room and boy do I LOOOVE it. I added a big bookcase from IKEA with cool black storage boxes and it looks fantastic and is very efficient. I just need to label each box. Sigh. Organization is never complete!
You know I keep my ribbon by color on Ribbon Rings, but I separated those out into more color specific rings (In addition to ROYGBIV I added turquoise, peach, mint, gray, etc.) I don't even want to use any of my ribbon in my projects because my Ribbon Rings look AMAZING on the wall. Where did I get all of this ribbon? Seriously? Do I need 50 different turqouise ribbons? Yes. Yes, I do.
I've been making tons of thank you cards with my ribbon scraps. It feels so good knowing that I have a nice supply of beautiful cards to use this year. Instead of traditional fold out cards, I made large tags and used a ton of ribbons through the top. I even added beautiful tulle bows. OMG. SOOOO CUTE.
For those of you who have been buying more ribbon (GO YOU!) and now need more Ribbon Ring tags... well, I will post a shipping coupon tomorrow.
