It's hard to say . . . I think it all depends on the amount of % off. If it saves buyers more than the cost of shipping, of course, most of us would rather have the % off. If the shipping cost is low, on small, lightweight items like ribbon ring packages, free shipping may not compare.
Are you going to have a booth at Scrapfest 09 at the Mall of America next month? I hope so!!! A friend and I are flying to Minneapolis for the show and I would love to see this there.
As long as the % off is more than 5 I would most likely prefer that. I have come across several sites who have a regular %5 off but they have jacked up their shipping costs to a $10 minimum charge. The end result is it looks like you are getting a discount but in reality you are paying more!

I vote free shipping! I am ALWAYS concerned about shipping costs when ordering on-line and I would much rather receive free shipping instead of a discount coupon...I just think getting free shipping is like yelling BINGO! at the bingo hall !!!!
Besides, when I receive an online coupon I always think- nahhh, I'll order, save my % and pay it back in shipping- making the shipping free just makes it easier all the way 'round!
I love ribbon rings & would buy them even w/o discount or free s/h! They are great...
I vote for free shipping as well. Don't have to break out the calculator to see what comes and what goes! I was also curious if people have sent in pictures of their ribbon storage projects when completed. I'm re-doing my craft room in rainbow coloring and this fits perfectly!
I like free shipping - so the price I pay for the tags is all that I pay. ;-)
I'm a free shipping girl! I always look up shipping costs *before* I select what to buy. The lower the shipping cost (or free!) the more product I will buy. If shipping seems inflated from the first item I will definitely shop around.
